A complete bed cover of toile de Nantes, copper-plate printed in madder with the story of 'Telemachus and Calypso' (Odyssey)--72 x 54 x 36in. (180 x 135 x 90cm.), first printed in Nantes circa 1790, the scene of the nymph and her suitor was derived from a painting of 1722 by Jean Raoux, itself inspired by Fénelon's Aventures de Télémaque, published in 1699; and another bed cover, incomplete; and a pelmet, numerous valences and matching fragments(a lot)
