A very deep flounce of fine Brussels Point de Gaze lace, the upper field dotted with tiny sprigs, the lower section densely worked with sprays of flowers, some swathed in ribbon and with swags and scrolls--192 x 25in. (488 x 64cm.), late 19th century; two lengths of Alençon lace with a border sprig motif--35½ x 3½in. (90 x 9cm.) each, late 18th century; a length of Flemish bobbin lace with tight, scrolling design--116 x 10in. (296 x 25.5cm.) , 18th century; and a large collection of good laces(a lot)
