An antique Bijar runner, North-West Persia
The shaded yellow field with open herati patten around three large indigo panels, each containing similar design enclosing ivory herati pole medallion centrepiece, in in shaded terracotta border of polychrome palmettes and angular floral vine between blue and yellow floral vine stripes, outer barbr-pole and plain stripes, some wear, old repairs (well blend), minute moth damage in one corner and at one end
