A Japanese bronze group with Daikoku
20th Century
cast with Daikoku carrying a mallet standing beside a horse, the horse saddled with various sacks and books, on a naturalistic rockwork base -- 13in. (33cm.) wide; and a bronze flower vase, the body of square section, decorated with archaic-style motifs and ho-o between similar bird-head handles, all below a separate circular drop-in section -- 10¾in. (27.3cm.) high, (minor wear).
