A Shadow Box Of The Schooner FOAM
J.H. Lozier; East Albany, NY, American, 20th century
A wooden waterline ship model, with a carved hull and sails, painted with white topsides and a gold coaming rail. The sails are also carved from wood and painted white. There are several carved figures on deck, and an American flag which is painted on paper and applied to the mainsail, a Union Jack and name pennant which are painted as part of the background. All displayed in a wood framed shadow box (front glass missing).
