A Sailor Made Diorama of a Three Masted Barque

The hull of the model is built up from wood and painted black and white. The hull is fitted with running lights cabin structures and other details. The model is rigged with three masts, standing and running rigging and a full set of sails fashioned from tin. The model is set in a modeled sea, which has been painted a dark green and highlighted with white sea crests. The model is displayed in a glass and black framed case with the back panel of wood and painted to represent the sky.
