An Adirondack Guide Boat
D. Kavner (American, 20th century)
A very fine scratch built model, built up in plank on frame construction in pine and basswood. The details of the model include oars and oar locks, caned seats, paddle, copper edge at the stem and stern, and other details. Displayed on a pair of raised brass and wood cradles in a glass case with mahogany base and trim around the edge.
