Two Meissen (outside-decorated) figures of maidens
emblematic of Touch and Smell from the Senses, wearing loose classical drapes, each attended by putti, Touch standing beside a tree stump, a parrot perched on her arm, a hound at her feet, Smell standing beside a a vase issuing flowers upon a plinth, holding a posy of flowers, a hound at her feet, on footed scroll moulded base, blue crossed swords marks, incised 1051 and 1136, circa 1880 (some damages and restoration) -- 28.cm. and 28.5cm. high
