A White Jade Wine Pot and Cover,
19th century,
Carved in the form of a lotus pod borne on multiple stems which form the handle and terminate in blossoms and leaves to the sides and the front forming the spout, the rim carved with seeds and with two small frogs, one stretching to join the spout, the other seated on the rim, the cover carved as a furled lotus leaf surmounted by a bird and attached to the handle by a linked chain, the semi-translucent stone with a small area of pale russet mottling
