**A Silver-Mounted Ivory Vase,
Meiji period (late 19th century), with signature Shuko koku, the mount with maker's mark Sadayoshi
The vase carved in low-relief with figures harvesting rice, the reverse with figures threshing, the top of the vase with a cloud band, set on a high foot and the collar formed as a chrysanthemum with two coiling dragon handles, the vase surmounted by a pheasant finial, all hardware deorated with floral scroll in enamel and inlaid shell and glass
