Three surimono, the first, one half of a diptych depicting the actors Ichikawa Kyuzo and Ichikawa Monnosuke visiting the Naritazan temple, poems in the votive plaque above by Shibaen Morizuna and Takenoya Shirozake and the Ichikawa clan Mimasu crest embossed on the red roof rail of the temple, the Gogawa poetry circle emblem in brass dust on the frame of the plaque, signed Gototei Kunisada ga; the second, En no kocho (Butterfly in a garden), a beauty reading a letter within a moon-shaped cartouche balanced by a flowering plum tree, signed Oju (by order) Kunisada ga and sealed with Mimasu seal; the third, a surimono after Kunisada of Yang Guifei in elaborate hair ornaments--generally good impressions, brass and silver dust and gauffrage on first, first and second slightly faded, minor rubbing and minute stains on first, second lightly creased
