modelled seated wearing robes decorated with incised scrolling designs, banging on a drum before him, incised signature to base -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) wide; and another ivory netsuke of a young man standing playing a flute -- 1 7/8in. (4.6cm.) high, (nick to flute, old wear).
