19th Century
the boy standing beside the daruma doll pushing it away, horn inset eyes and tied hair, on an irregular shaped base with incised signature to the underside -- 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) wide; and another ivory netsuke of an immortal clambering on top of a large fish -- 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) wide, (rubbing).
