19th Century and later
of flattened ovoid shape, carved through the overlay with a cat amongst blossoming branches, the sides with lion-mask and fixed-ring handles, green glass stopper -- 3in. (7.6cm.) high; a red glass and blue overlay bottle carved with birds amongst prunus, a hardstone bottle of a grey-brown tone with stopper, a rose quartz bottle in the form of a rabbit with stopper, and an amethyst snuff bottle in the form of a pomegranate with trailing leafy stalk -- 3in. (7.6cm.) max. high. (5)
