carved with the man tied with rope to the large vegetable attempting to drag it, incised signature to reverse -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) high; an ivory netsuke of a group of three peaches -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) wide; a stag-antler netsuke of chestnuts with leafy branch -- 1¼in. (3.2cm.) wide; a miniature ivory egg pendant opening to reveal a small chick and a painted wood netsuke of a samurai -- 1 7/8in. (4.7cm.) max. high. (5)
