An Imari octagonal bowl
18th century
painted and gilt with peonies, chrysanthemums and cherry blossom issuing from rockwork -- 4 1/8in. (10.5cms) wide; and a further bowl with reticulated honeycomb pattern panels and chrysanthemum heads to the exterior, decorated in iron red, green and underglaze blue enamels -- 4½in. (11.5cms) diam, (rim chips and nibbles).
