Half title, hand-coloured frontispiece and additional title, 10 engraved and etched plates, one hand-coloured, folding map hand-coloured in outline (a few early text leaves with ink underlining and annotation, occasional light spotting, lower inner cover with tipped-in half-tone portrait of William Beckford). Engraved frontispiece and 48 engraved plates, some folding with printed overlays and moveable parts (plate VIII with part of folding foredge detached but present, plates VII and XL neatly repaired, a few light spots). Contemporary half black morocco (joints splitting, rubbed and scuffed). Provenance: The Right Honourable Washington Sewallis Earl Ferrers (bookplate). Second Edition.
