Tasted 19/1/2002. Strong red to brown in color, great for it's age, fading to a nice tawny rim. Intense nose packed with herbs & spices, the aroma's leap out of the glass; lots of sweet fruit, gripping, strong alcohol; leathery with dried currants & old berries, very good length. DW
