18th Century
Of oval form the double lidded and double hinged openings, engraved overall, the front engraved with a scene depicting people fleeing a burning town, inscribed de liefden en tiranny, the back engraved with Alexander meeting Diogenes, the interior panels engraved with scenes and inscrptions pertaining to wedded life
3.5cm. high x 11cm. wide x 9cm. deep
