Inlaid overall with brass bands, the eared rectangular grey-veined white marble top surmounted by a pierced three-quarter gallery, above a frieze drawer and a panelled fall-front with a gilt-tooled simulated green leather-lined writing-surface to the reverse, enclosing a fitted interior with four variously-sized open compartments and six drawers, above a pair of panelled doors enclosing a plain interior with a shelf and a divide, flanked by fluted pilasters, on rounded tapering legs and brass toupie feet, remounted, restorations
