Lot Essay

Born in Paris in 1870, Paul-François Berthoud was a pupil of Dupuis, Fontaine and Larroux. He exhibited at the Nationale from 1926 to 1939, where he was a sociétaire. He also was the founder of the Salon d'Automne where he exhibited from 1907 to 1931.
