A French ormolu-mounted mahogany, marquetry and parquetry cabinet

Surmounted by a shaped and stepped brèche Medicis marble top, above a laurel wreath frieze, centred by a scrolling foliate mount with two winged lions, flanked to each side by a rams' head, above two cupboard doors centred by a lions' mask and decorated with ribbon-tied flower swags, fitted with one adjustable shelf, the spreading sides with similar decoration, above four tapering acanthus feet
