A French ormolu-mounted parquetry display cabinet
In the Régence Style, Circa 1885
Surmounted by a shaped rectangular Jaune de Valence marble top, the waisted breakfront pediment centred to the front by a satyr mask, above a bevelled glazed door, the lower section with a flower-filled urn above a female mask, flanked to each side by a similar panel, the mirrored interior fitted with a glazed shelf, the sides each with a similar glazed panel, on four cabriole legs with foliate sabots to the front; the back of the carcass numbered 5721D; mounted for electricity
