MARK OF FERGUSON & MACBEAN, INVERNESS,[C.1890], ALSO MARKED FOR EDINBURGH, 1896
the wooden bowl carved in relief with two panther-like animals, one in combat with a serpent, the handles carved with intertwined serpents, the rim, and foot mounted with plain silver bands, and a bosse to the underside of the foot, the centre of the interior set with a raised silver bosse, engraved with the wording Sg/quab as'l.
