AN EARLY GEORGE III SCOTTISH SILVER TEAPOT
MARK OF GILLSAND & KERR, EDINBURGH, 1765
of plain cylindrical drum form, the lid with flush hinge and engraved with four sections of floral decoration, the plain 'C'-form handle with ivory insulators, the lid with ivory disc finial (old damage), one side engraved with a crest and motto, 11.5cm (4½in) high, 21oz.
