Of arched outline, the channelled quarter-veneered fall-front inlaid with a lobed oval, enclosing a part-fitted interior with two small amaranth-lined drawers and a leather-lined writing-surface, bordered with foliate scrolls, supported by the two forward-sliding front legs enclosing a frieze drawer and mounted with foliate angles reaching to pierced sabots, stamped 'I. DUBOIS' and 'JME', later mounted, restorations to the veneers
