A LOUIS XV BRONZE-MOUNTED AND CORNE VERTE BRACKET CLOCK WITH QUARTER REPEAT
The movement by Joseph Bertrand
The white enamel Roman and Arabic dial signed 'JPHE BERTRAND A PARIS', within an arched and waisted case framed by C-scrolls and rockwork, surmounted by a spreading hood with a cherub finial, the glazed door with an eagle at the base, on scrolling dragon feet, the single barrel movement with silk suspended verge escapement and pull wind quarter repeat via two hammers on a bell to the top of the case, with repeat signature to the back plate; formerly with bracket
