A LOUIS XV SEVRES PORCELAIN JARDINIERE WITH ASSOCIATED ORMOLU, TOLE AND FRENCH PORCELAIN CANDELABRUM
The jardiniere with blue interlaced L marks enclosing the date letter F for 1758, painter's mark of X for Xhrouet, the porcelain flowers mainly 19th Century, the ormolu and tole 19th Century
Painted with sprays of flowers and fruit, with twin scrolling handles and paw feet, the later cover with pierced border and naturalistic top supporting five scrolling foliate branches terminating in foliate drip-pan and nozzles, entwined with tole foliage and mounted with soft-paste porcelain flowerheads including roses, peonies, cornflowers and pinks, restoration, replacements and minor losses to the porcelain flowers, the feet of the jardiniere with restorations
Including cover: 24½ in. (62 cm.) high; 9½ in. (24 cm.) wide; 11 in. (28 cm.) deep
