Diagonally-banded overall, with a waved tripartite rectangular top inlaid with a flower-spray flanked to either side by a vase with a rose, fitted with a central mirror-backed flap flanked by hinged compartments, one enclosing a removable hinged box, the other a hinged flap, the front inlaid with a landscape, flanked by flower sprays, with a leather-lined slide and two drawers, on cabriole legs with later ormolu foliage and lion paw sabots, the interior partially reveneered, the removable box replaced
