The triple shaped quarter-veneered panelled top with a central hinged flap with a mirror on the reverse, flanked to either side by two hinged flaps, each enclosing a lidded material-lined well, above a leather-lined writing-slide flanked by two small drawers, on cabriole legs with later ormolu C-scroll and rockwork sabots, stamped 'L. PERIDIEZ' and 'JME', with remains of shipping labels on the underside, stencilled '550' and with paper label inscribed in ink 'West', the interior hinged flaps to the wells possibly replaced, restorations to veneers
