Yongzheng (1723-35)
The semi-eggshell porcelain brightly enamelled at the centre with three ceremonial sampans bearing vases of lotus flowers approaching figures watching from pavillion terraces partially obscured by clouds, below a pink cell-pattern band at the border reserved with three fruit-shaped panels of lily, carnation and chrysanthemum, the reverse under an even ruby glaze, underside rim flake restored
8¼ in. (21 cm.) diam.
