A FAMILLE ROSE 'EROTIC' TEABOWL AND SAUCER
Circa 1730-40
The semi-eggshell porcelain finely enamelled with a gentleman seated with a young lady on his knee, his left hand beneath her robes, both pretending to look at a scroll which lies on a table beside them, behind a screen a young boy is watching the couple, his finger to his lips, a gilt scrolling foliage band at the rim
