Circa 1795
Each enamelled with a central roundel depicting a classical urn below willow branches, the white areas as silhouettes revealing the profiles of King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette, and smaller profiles of the Dauphin and Madame Royale, the border with a spiralling blue enamel ribbon interrupted by three floral clusters

This design is taken from a print first published in France in 1793. Versions with different borders and other variations are also known.
