A RARE PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE DOVES
Qianlong (1736-95)
Naturalistically modelled looking slightly to the left and right with the moulded wing, back and tail feathers in soft shades of pink and aubergine, the necks and heads with grisaille feather markings and pink beaks, standing with their iron-red feet straddling the rocky supports which are splashed in blue and grisaille, one neck restored
