Heavily cast seated in dhyanasana with his right hand lowered in varada mudra and his left hand on his lap holding the edge of his robe, wearing a voluminous robe falling in elegant folds from his left shoulder, his rounded face with a benign expression with large silver inlaid almond-shaped eyes and copper inlaid lips, his hair arranged in tight curls surmounted by the domed ushnisha, bearing remains of red pigment in the robe

This is a refined example at the high point of Kashmiri style, and of large size, with intricately modeled webbed fingers and finely detailed drapery. Solidly cast, no other directly related examples appear to be recorded.
