by André Magnin, marked, Geneva under French occupation 1809-1814, with the restricted warranty mark for the French deparments 1809-1819
Oval box, the sides and base engine-turned with horizontal wavy lines forming an ozier pattern, the cover enamelled with a Swiss lakeside view within split-pearl border, the sides stamped with a husk border and divided by four side pilasters engraved with stylized quatrefoils, the interior of the lid engraved 'To my Mother Long may the strain affection offers please And every year commence with sound like these! 1829'
