A SWISS SPLIT-PEARL SET AND ENAMELLED GOLD MUSICAL FOLDING KNIFE
Geneva, circa 1800, later struck with two French post-1893 import marks for gold
Folding knife, the obverse and reverse of the tapering gold handle enamelled in translucent red and opaque blue around gold scrolls set with split-pearls, a trophy of Love enclosing a musical movement, the curved side of the gold blade chased with foliage
3 1/8 in. (80 mm.) long when closed
