cover 1888 (Apr.) envelope (small faults) from Silam to England, bearing 1883 8c. green and 1886 2c. (2) sharing two good strikes of the circular intaglio "SILAM POST OFFICE/Lion/B.N. BORNEO" handstamp in blue, upon arrival in London redirected to Uxbridge Road and bearing 1881 1d. lilac cancelled with "S.W/39" duplex (a further strike also appearing over the Borneo stamps), Sandakan c.d.s. in red (23 April) and two London c.d.s. on reverse.
