The anglaise riche case with reeded columns and Greek key handle, the solid side panels engraved with floral sprays, with faceted glass repeat button to the top, plain mask to the white enamel chapter disc with blue Arabic chapters, pierced gilt-metal hands, with retail signature J.W. BENSON, the typical movement with skeletonized plates, vertically positioned bimetallic lever escapement, with plunge repeat via two hammers on two steel gongs circling the movement, with key-less wind to underside, formerly with sliding shutter -- 3½in. (9cm.) high to hilt of handle; with leather travel case
