The flat top case with dentil cornice mouldings, with outset front reeded columns, the shallow-arched trunk door flanked by three-quarter length reeded pilasters, with panelled plinth, the 13in. square white dial with strawberry spandrels to the Roman and Arabic chapter ring with dot minute markers, with subsidiary seconds ring and date arch to the centre, signed on a banner ...FLETCHER..., pierced steel hands, with WILSON falseplate to the four pillar movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell (lacking) -- 79in. (201cm.) high
