The No. 2 Gun un-named, No. 1197
Incorporating T. Horsley pull-back snap-action toplever patent No. 2410 of October 1863, the non-rebounding sidelocks with dolphin hammers, best bold foliate-scroll engraving, well-figured stocks (No. 1197 cracked at the head) with chequered iron butt-plates, the combs inset with leather-covered cheek-pads, the triggerguards of an unusual angular form, the bold damascus barrels with sunken game-ribs
Weight 7lb. 1½oz. (No. 1497) and 7lb. 3oz. (No. 1197), 14in. pulls, 29½in. barrels, proof exemption
