Northern Song dynasty, 12th-13th century
With tapering globular body and tall slightly tapering neck flanked by a pair of double-strap loop handles and rising to a lipped rim, covered with a blackish-brown glaze with irregular russet markings on the neck and thinning to russet on the rim and to predominantly russet on the upper body before ending in a line to expose the pale grey ware, raised on a straight, neatly cut foot ring
