A Longquan Celadon Carved and Biscuit-Decorated Shallow Bowl
Yuan dynasty, early/mid-14th century
The interior carved with two lotus blossoms below a band of lotus scroll in the well, the everted rim applied with eight florets left in the biscuit to fire to reddish-orange in contrast to the sea-green tone of the glaze which continues onto the exterior and over the foot ring, an unglazed ring on the base fired to a similar reddish-orange color
