Probably Imperial, attributed to the Palace Workshops, Beijing, 1780-1860
Of flattened rectangular form, carved in relief with a magpie perched in a blossoming prunus tree, the reverse with a butterfly near a camelia, stopper
2 7/16in. (6.2cm.) high

Lot Essay
The style of carving suggests that this is an Imperial bottle, in which case it is one of the very few amber bottles where we can tentatively identify it with the Court workshops.
