This lovely, and rare early malachite bottle has been damaged at some time in the past, resulting in a triangular section being knocked out of the lip. Unwilling to discard such a pleasant stone, and rather than cut down the elegant form, it was repaired by adding a neat, coral collar to the lip of the bottle.
