19th Century, bearing false Frisian marks
Octagonal, on domed foot, cast with putti, scrolls and fruit, the sides engraved with four female figures personifying Hope, Love, Charity and Prudence, and the four Evangelists, engraved Mattheus, Markus, Lucas, Johannes, with two cast openwork handles with scrolls and a central putto head, the reverse of the handles with initials T.S. and M.R., marked on base
