Mark of Nicolaas van Diemen, Amsterdam, 1768
The front of the spreading wooden base enclosed by a silver mount repoussé and chased with foliate scrolls and shells, centred by a glazed medallion, the reverse of the base with hinged door, the silver crucifix with wooden back, decorated with three cast foliate finials, centred by a banner engraved with the Sacred Monogram and applied with the silver figure of Christ, marked on base
