Circa 1750, possibly German, apparently unmarked
Formed as a lion sejant with collar and pendant loop, on baluster stem, repoussé and chased with shells and scrolls, the reverse with snuff compartment, with later red gold detachable cover and with detachable red gold spoon, inscribed 'Gedachtenis van mijne Grootmoeder A.J. Heijbroek'
