Mark of Wouter van Dijck II, Delft, 1744, also struck with later Dutch duty-mark of 1795 for Delft and a Dutch duty-mark used between 1814-1893, possibly converted from a tobacco-jar
Shaped circular on four scroll and foliate feet with spreading moulded border, the sides applied with four panels of scrolling foliage with plain shaped panels between, one engraved with an English crest, the shaped detachable cover pierced in the Louis XIV style with panels of stylized foliage, with octagonal baluster finial, marked on base
