Maker's mark WE conjoined possibly for Warner Everts van Winsum, Groningen, 1661, also struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1859-1893
Trumpet-shaped, on domed circular foot cast with putti and foliage, engraved above with a hunting scene beneath an applied girdle of thorns, the upper section engraved with scrolls, pendant fruit and three medallions, enclosing scenes of the Temptation of Christ, Christ with the Woman of Samaria and the Raising of Lazarus, with figures of King David and a saint, and coats-of-arms acollé beneath, marked on base
